Can somebody please give me a clear and concise definition about global asset management and similarly if anybody knows any interesting facts about Legg Mason LLC, it will be appreciated.

Global asset management refers to investment schemes where an investor places funds with an asset mgt co. and leaves the investing to it hoping it will be wise enough to put his funds in instruments which will maximise his returns. These fund mgt companies will spread risks by placing the entrusted funds in portfolios around the world so that if one country's stocks should collapse, it would not affect the customer too drastically.

Asset Management companies typically place funds in
· Institutions
· Mutual Funds
· Closed Ended Investments
· Products

Examples of large GAM companies are UBS, Goldman Sachs, etc. I have no knowledge of Legg Mason other than what's on their website below. Take care with your funds, and good luck

SUMMARISED.
1) Execution, or how well management's plans are carried out by members of the organization.
2) Leadership, or how effectively management communicates and translates the vision and strategy of the organization to the members.
3) Delegation, or how well management gives assignments and communicates instructions to members of the organization.
4) Return on Investment, or how well management utilizes the resources (financial, physical, and human) of the organization to bring an acceptable return to shareholders.
5) Conflict management, or how well management is able to utilize confrontation and collaboration skills; management's ability to be flexible and appeal to common interests.
6) Motivation, how management attempts to understand the needs of others and inspires them to perform. (Motivation focuses on how performance is rewarded rather than how failure is punished.)
7) Consideration, how managers seek to understand and appreciate the value of others; and not merely as a means to a business goal.

Depends whether you mean working a global project that involves various countries, or project management in countries other than the US.

In general project management is similar the world over, although in the US the Project Management Institute is more well known than in the rest of the world where the IPMA is more known. In the UK in particular the PRINCE2 process/certification is well known - less so in the US.

Some domestic projects can be spread over many states, which presents many of the same challenges as different countries. However, international projects obviously have the additional challenges of language, customs/import/export issues, local laws, local customs, security, exchange rates, wider time differences, travel costs, international treaties etc.

This Company Says that it works with Publishers' Clearing House and that I won $ 96,000.00 and sent me a check for the amount to cover all taxes and fees and after I pay that I will receive the remaining amount. Is this for real?

This sounds like a scam. Suggest you contact the US postal service.
