Property law?
Is IP another bubble about to burst? A view from another civilization.

There dont seem to be any courses how might i go about pursing this area?

Also

How much property law content is there in the surrounding courses like Building surveying, quanitity and real estate?

In the Uk property law is part of what you learn when you train to become a solicitor. There are also people called Licensed Conveyancers who are able to do the paperwork for selling houses. Perhaps you could find one of them in your area and get some info.

How can I protect my business from the CA community property law?
bbfqld facilitator Fee Plumley, Digital Program Officer, Australia Council for the Arts

I have wanted to open a business of my own for awhile now. Now that I am ready, my marriage may be falling apart. I wanted to know, how I could protect my business from the community property law in California. Is there a way to do it without lawyers?

Open it as a corporation. Or you could always put it in your parents or other family members name.

I have no technical backround. Is it worth it for me to pursue intellectual property law ?
bbfqld facilitator Brian Fitzgerald, Professor of Intellectual Property Law and Innovation (QUT)

I have applied to law school for next year. I am very interested in Intellectual property law, specifically copyright and trademark law. From what I understand a large degree of technical experience is required for patent law. Would this be a significant hindrance to my future job prospects

IP lawyers are among the best paid these days - and it will only get better in the future. Not to mention that it is a field of law that is still well-respected.

A techincal background will help, but you do not necessarily need a technical undergrad degree. Make sure that you intern with firms that will get you the right kind of experience.

Career in Intellectual Property with Law Degree and Finance Bachelors?
bbfqld facilitator Professor Greg Hearn, ARC Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries and Innovation (QUT), Director Creative Workforce Program

I read that you must have a science degree undergraduate in like physics or biochemistry or computer science, then do Intellectual Property law just to sit on the Patent Exam.

What if I have a Finance undergraduate (Bachelors of Science degree) and will be pursuing IP Law next year. Can I take the Patent exam? I am also very knowledgeable about Internet technology (own web development company).

Or am I wasting my time preparing for this career?

Do you have to be an engineer or have a special background to get into any field of intellectual property law?
bbfqld facilitator Brian Fitzgerald, Professor of Intellectual Property Law and Innovation (QUT)

I am thinking of getting into intellectual property law, and I have heard that you need to be an engineer or have a science background if you want to work with certain patent or copywright issues. To what extent is this true? I don't have a B.A. in a science-related field. Are there any areas of I.P. law that are still open to people without a science/engineering or computer science background? Hope someone can help, thanks.

when it comes to the patent law ,u better try a course in commerce. The name of the subject is business law .
And property law ,as far as i know is no were concerned with science.
If the property law is concerned with checking of the methods used in construction or designs etc.
Then u should be a civil Engineer.

House property tax regime set to change under DTC Economic Times

The income from letting out a house property will be computed under the head — income from house property. The income from house property will be computed as gross rent less the deductions specified under DTC. Gross rent is the amount of rent received or receivable for the financial year.

One can claim deductions for the amount of tax paid to the local authority, a sum equal to 20% of the gross rent in respect of repair and maintenance of such property, and the amount of any interest paid on loan taken for the purposes of acquisition, construction, repair or renovation of such property; or the interest paid on the loan taken for the purposes of repayment of the loan. There is no restriction on the amount of interest that could be claimed as deduction in case of a let-out property.

Further, any interest in respect of the period prior to the financial year in which the house property has been acquired or constructed can be claimed as deduction in five equal instalments,
