Does Florida law allow mobile home associations to prohibit their shareholders from renting out their units?
Furthermore, if no such law exists, is it legal for the home owners’ association to make it extremely difficult for shareholders to rent out their units?
If the homeowner association to which you belong has such a provision preventing rentals, then it is legal. There is no state law making such a proviso illegal.

what is the Florida law regarding moving out of apartments and the time required to give them before moving?
We are being told by the apartment complex that we must give them 60 days notice even though our 1 year lease has run out. We under stand that it may be only 30 days by law but we need to know what the law is and what it says.

Is there a law in Florida that protects a renter's right from the manager entering without notice?
Many renters have complained of the management entering their apartment without notice and while they were gone. This is the Indigo Pines Plantation in Daytona Beach. Is there a law in Florida that protect that? Also, would the lease be able to waiver that right? Would you be able to remove that aspect from the lease and still rent?
leases in Florida may not waiver the provisions of the Act, so there is requirement to remove such provisions from any rental agreement -- such provisions are completely unenforceable. this is included in the citation above

Florida law concerning evicted people's property?
I am a landlord in Florida (Escambia County). My tenants are being evicted this Monday (per judgment). When we drove by the house yesterday we noticed several LARGE pieces of property that they are apparently leaving (a up-ground swimming pool, a hot tub, swing set) as well as a house full of dirty laundry that my property manager said has been there for the last week. My property manager said that we have to move everything to the curb and take pictures of it. What I want to know is, when does it become ours? Do big things like that have to be put to the curb? They have damaged our property beyond believe and I don't know if they are trying to leave these things as a partial payback for their damage. So, what does the law say?
as soon as the sheriff moves them out what ever is left is yours, you are under no obligation to store it. The sheriff or his appointee will tell you the same

Florida immigrant crackdown aims to outdo Arizona laws The Guardian
Florida 's attorney general today promised to introduce laws emulating – and exceeding – the draconian clampdown on undocumented immigrants recently attempted by Arizona .
The proposed legislation would put the sunshine state at the forefront of the anti-immigrant moves rapidly sweeping across the US.
Architects of the plans boast they will be the harshest anti-illegal immigration laws yet, a claim that could have an incendiary effect in Florida given the state's high proportion of Latinos.
Bill McCollum, Florida's attorney general, is the main proponent of the clampdown. He said the legislation would "provide new enforcement tools for protecting our citizens and will help our state fight the on-going problems created by illegal immigration. Florida will not be a sanctuary state for illegal aliens."
Under the proposals, police would be required to investigate the immigration status of anyone they stopped whom they suspected of being illegally in the country. Any suspects lacking papers would be liable to up to 20 days in jail after which time they would be handed over to the immigration services for deportation.
