Must be the best business law book out there!
Rich in content, comprehensive, and very user-friendly. Presentation is excellent. Use of color, diagrams and boxes sets it apart from the majority of law books which are nothing more than 1000 pages of black and white text. The auhor also has a very well-chosen set of cases for the reader to see...

Chamber President: Middletown Suffers Loss with Transit Head's Death
Last week I was saddened to hear of the passing of a great man and leader in Middlesex County: Tom Cheeseman . Tom was a friend to me and I always considered him to be a tremendously dedicated person to this county. He selflessly gave his time as a chairman of the chamber’s Central Business Bureau as well as leading the chamber as a member of our board of directors. Tom also received one of the most prestigious awards one can earn when he was named as the recipient of the state’s Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Leadership Award in 2007. Middlesex County and the state of Connecticut will truly miss his great contributions and we all will miss his friendship and unconditional support.
Burma Farmers Fear Land Act
“Under the new law, millions of acres that have been seized by big companies will legally belong to them, and not the farmers,” says Pho Phyu. Pho Phyu estimates that since the new government took office in March last year some 10,000 acres of farmland have been seized in Rangoon and Irrawaddy divisions alone. He carries, he says, the burden of 10,000 mouths on slight, yet confident shoulders, advocating as he does for 1,500 delta farmers who have had their land seized by big companies with connections to the government. However, this did not deter the lawyer from joining with farmers in October in staging an unprecedented protest against a new draft Land Act that is currently awaiting approval—one of two cases pending against him for which he is on bail.
