Is ING Direct banking Orange Saving Account worth it?
I was directed to ING by a co-worker, the APY is 2.50% but it's an online bank, if i were to go for this, is it easy, convenient, and hassle free? Does anybody use this account?
I think it's worth it. The rate is pretty competitive with other online banks. I have a savings account with ING and I've been very pleased. The account setup seemed very easy and only took 15 minutes or so. I endorse them very strongly. One caveat is that if you choose to transfer funds from ING to your checking it can take 2-3 business days. If fast access to this money is necessary then you might keep shopping around. Good Luck.

What's the deal with ING Direct (Banking in Canada)?
Is it really as awesome as the commercials make it seem? Anyone here bank with them? Are there high banking fees to offset the high intrest return rate? Is there *really* no catch?
I have been investing with ING for years. They offer some of the highest rates in the country and there really isn't any "catch". For example their savings account has no minimum and no fees. You can freely move your money between your regular bank account and your ING account. I have such confidence in them I recently opened an Electric Orange Account- this is a checking account without paper checks. You can use their bill pay to pay bills and you also get a debit card. The Electric account also offers great rates on a sliding scale basis. They even give you overdraft protection. I highly recommend ING.

What does a direct deposit look like on a banking statement?
Just curious as to what a direct deposit looks like on the employee end of a bank statement. What does it usually say on the received line? An account number? The business name?
It usually has the business name and a bunch of numbers for tracking purposes, and appears with the other eletronic or automated deposits.

Is ING Direct available in the Philippines? Are there other banking services or institutions similar to this?
I noticed in personal finance websites that ING direct seems to give a higher interest yields than most banks' savings accounts. You only have to have a checking account with another bank. But most of them are from the US. I want to know if it's possible to open an ING direct account even if you're not from the US. Or if there are similar institutions or services here in the Philippines which will give as much--4.5% per annum. Thanks.

How do I know amtrust direct bank is safe to use CD?
I am thinking about this bank for CD, but I dont know much information about them. I dont want to risk my money if I dont know anything about them. Besides them, I think about HSBC, capital bank, bank of america, but they are low interest. Amtrust direct is higher than those banks. But somebody give me more information about amtrust direct please? IS IT SAFE for my money?

It depends on how much you are planning to deposit. Check for FDIC insurance & if they carry additional deposit insurance above the FDIC limits.
