Where do I find research information on accounting and fianacial analysis for a business plan for a coffeeshop
I am doing a business plan for my principles of business class and i cannot find anything that is free to find averages on the financial analysis.

Business Plan HELP!!!!!!! ( accounting firm) ?
OK, I have to do a business plan for my Principle of Business class and I am doing it on an accounting firm. I need to find the line of authority in an accounting firm. I need to know if it goes in the order of CEO, CIO, CFO, what do they go by. I want to be a CPA and that's the main reason I choose it and I am still learning. I have been looking around for some info on it for about 3 hours now and this is my last resort. Thanks a million.

what would be a good accounting plan for a new small business financial or managerial?
why would this be a good one to start with
Financial accounting is cost accounting, which would be appropriate for a small manufacturing operation or a business with multiple profit centers (i.e. motor vehicle franchise - sales, service, parts, etc.)
Managerial accounting pertains to the functions related to management of the business, which includes the financial statements, ratio calculations, etc. This provides data that reinforces decision-making in the enterprise.
All businesses rely on some form of managerial accounting, and most businesses have areas in which job costing (financial accounting) is applicable. Any business with multiple departments may want to employ some sort of a cost-center (or profit center) accounting approach to determine which areas are independently profitable versus areas which work in support of others.
Most new small businesses focus on general bookkeeping at first, and try to sort it all out after the first set of financial statements shows up. This can be as simple as checkbook accounting or a limited checks-and-balance system.
